Kelly Carroll College Consulting operates this website. This policy applies to information collected through the website and contact form.
Information we collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect:
- your name and email address;
- an optional phone number;
- the student’s grade or current-college status;
- the categories of support you are seeking;
- a free-text message; and
- confirmation that submitting the form does not create a consulting relationship.
We also create basic submission and retention records. Website and security services automatically process technical information, such as IP address, browser or device information, and request details, to deliver and protect the site. Anti-spam verification data is checked but is not stored with an accepted inquiry.
How information is used
Information is used to:
- review and respond to inquiries;
- understand the requested advising support and whether the services may fit;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of the site;
- prevent spam, fraud, and abusive use; and
- meet applicable legal or operational obligations.
Inquiries are reviewed and answered manually.
Service providers and recipients
Service providers support website hosting and security, inquiry storage, anti-spam verification, font delivery, and email. They may receive information in connection with providing those services. Authorized business personnel and website operators may also review inquiries and maintain the site.
Retention
Accepted contact submissions become eligible for deletion after 18 calendar months. The scheduled deletion process is intended to remove eligible records within 28 additional days, provided that process runs as documented.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect inquiry information, but no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Privacy questions and requests
You may email kelly@kellycarrollconsulting.com with a privacy question or a request concerning information you submitted through this site. Kelly Carroll College Consulting will review and respond as required by applicable law. We may request information needed to reasonably verify the request.
Children under 13
This site and contact form are intended for high-school students, current college students, prospective transfer students, and their families. They are not directed to children under 13. If an inquiry concerns a student under 13, a parent or guardian should submit it. Please contact us if you believe a child under 13 submitted personal information through the site.
Do Not Track and cross-site collection
The site does not use analytics, advertising pixels, behavioral advertising, or session replay and does not track visitors across other websites. The site therefore does not respond differently when a browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.
Some service providers used to deliver, secure, or display this site also serve other websites and may receive technical information from your browser across websites. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy notices.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the site’s practices or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will also place a temporary “Updated” notice beside the Privacy Policy link in the site footer when the change takes effect.
